We want your love
But crave your respect
We'll make mistakes
But please let us lead
Don't make us guess
Just say what you need
Let us protect
When danger is near
Be very attentive
Lend us your ear
When times get tough
We do what we can
Don't criticize
Be our number one fan
When you get angry
When we've done wrong
You hold back sex
Sometimes too long
We feel insecure
When you say "no"
We have our needs
So where do we go
Some to the internet
Some to a bar
Although we're Christians
Some take it too far
Disrespect and rejection
Make us very weak
We're bred to be tough
So it's difficult to speak
We can't articulate
Exactly how we feel
But please believe
The pain is real
This point is critical

We believe Satan's lies

We have an affair
Either physical or mental
Satan's been scheming
So it's not coincidental
That woman at work
Gives us special attention
We don't confess
It's not something we mention
We're flattered at first
But now it's too late
Either mentally or physically
We take her on a date
All is not lost
But there's certainly real trouble
Your strong foundation
Could be reduced to rubble
Are you at fault

So sisters be aware

Rejection is a killer
Disrespect is too
